Overland Contracting Inc., (OCI) is a Black & Veatch Company (B&V) that provides construction services in the open/merit shop arena.

OCI is tailored to fit our client’s needs, options are available through direct hire or subcontract strategies utilizing open shop labor in support of EPC projects as well as construction-only work for the telecom, energy and water markets across the country.  On-time and within budget” is a familiar phrase to anyone in the construction industry. At OCI, we believe that quality is the third special ingredient in a successful project. Our recipe for success includes more control, fewer subcontracts, lower cost, and an optimized schedule. Company Snapshot

Our story began in 1915 when two former University of Kansas graduates, Ernest Bateman (E.B.) Black and Nathan Thomas (N.T.) Veatch, formed a partnership with 12 employees in one office. Over the next 100 years, Black & Veatch would grow to become one of the world’s most successful engineering, procurement, consulting and construction (EPC) companies.

Overland Contracting Inc. provides construction services in the open and merit shop markets. Since 1996, OCI has been an industry leader in building vital infrastructure.
